Available Positions

Kitchen Crew

We are searching for prep cooks and line cooks who can produce a small menu of food at a high level of execution. The main objectives of our cooks are to prep ingredients, make menu items that look as great as they taste, operate commercial kitchen equipment, adhere to cleaning schedules, and properly rotate food according to health and food safety regulations. Expect a fast-paced environment and a collaborative team of really fun people.

20-40 Hours/Week • Starting $10/hr + Tip • Healthcare, Dental, & Vision Insurance • Staff Discounts

Responsibilities

Memorizing Origin’s food menu • Making menu items at a high level of execution • Maintaining a clean and organized environment • Executing opening and closing duties • Prepping ingredients • Running & rotating food • Operating kitchen equipment • Miscellaneous shop related tasks

Qualifications

Dish Washer

We are looking for a Dishwasher to join our kitchen staff and maintain cleanliness around our restaurant. Dishwasher responsibilities include collecting used dishes, plates and utensils, loading washing machines, and restocking sanitized items appropriately. If you want to kickstart your career in the restaurant industry and be part of the behind-the-scenes operations, we’d like to meet you.

Responsibilities

Collect used kitchenware from dining and kitchen areas • Load and unload dishwashing machines • Wash specific items by hand (e.g. wooden cutting boards, large pots, and delicate china)• Store clean dishes, glasses, and equipment appropriately • Set up workstations before meal prep begins • Ensure there are always enough clean dishes, glasses, and utensils, especially during peak hours • Maintain cleaning supplies stock (e.g. detergents) and place orders when necessary • Check washing machines’ operation and promptly report any technical/performance issues • Remove garbage regularly • Sanitize the kitchen area, including the floor
