At Origin, we are passionate about coffee and our guests. We are searching for upbeat team-players who share that same passion and have experience working in customer service and making the best cup of coffee in town. The main objectives of our baristas are to be the front-line of customer experience and create memorable moments and expertly crafted coffee. You'll regularly collaborate with the team to complete orders and make people's day! You'll be responsible for ringing up sales, bagging items, heating pastries, honoring coupons, collecting payment, preparing drinks, serving our guests well, and making incredible memories for them. May be responsible for checking materials and supplies and reporting when stock is low, too.

Roaster • Savannah, GA

Our coffee is roasted with care, ensuring every cup reflects our dedication to sustainability, traceability, and craftsmanship.

We currently serve our community through our café, mobile coffee bar events, and wholesale partnerships. As we continue to grow, we’re looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Coffee Roaster to join our team part-time, with the potential to transition into a full-time role as our roasting operations expand.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Roasting coffee to maintain quality and consistency across various profiles (averaging 400–600 lbs/week to start).
  • Managing green coffee inventory, ordering, and receiving shipments.
  • Evaluating new green coffee samples for potential additions to our lineup.
  • Planning and scheduling roast batches based on production needs.
  • Conducting sample roasting and cupping sessions for quality control.
  • Keeping accurate records of roast profiles and inventory using Cropster or similar software.
  • Maintaining and cleaning roasting equipment to ensure efficiency and longevity.
  • Staying informed on industry trends and new sourcing opportunities.

What Will Help You Succeed:

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, proof, and bake a variety of breads (sourdough, focaccia, sandwich loaves, etc.).
  • Mix and bake Southern-style biscuits and other complementary baked goods.

Events Director • Savannah, GA

Position Overview:
This role will begin as an hourly position, with the goal of transitioning into a commission-based structure as our events program grows. The Events Director will oversee all aspects of mobile coffee bar events, in-house events, and venue rentals, ensuring a seamless and high-quality experience for both clients and team members.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage mobile coffee bar events, in-house events, and venue rentals.
  • Transport and set up the mobile coffee bar, including driving a trailer or van to and from event locations.
