Senior Lead • Savannah
Location: Savannah, GA
Job Type: Part-Time
Pay: $20-$22/hour
Position Summary
The Senior Lead will maintain their current position on staff while working select part-time hours each week to assist our General Manager with daily operations. Hours clocked as a Senior Lead will be subject to an increased pay rate, as specified below.
A Senior Lead is a trusted, solutions-oriented leader responsible for keeping operations running smoothly at Origin Coffee Bar’s Savannah location. This role combines operational oversight, team support, and administrative ownership to ensure quality, consistency, and reliability across shifts.
Senior Leads assists the General Manager as needed, solves problems quickly, anticipates needs, and helps maintain a stable, well-organized environment for both team members and guests.
Compensation & Benefits:
- Base Rate: $15/hour
- Guaranteed Rate: $20–$22/hour
- Weekly Hours: 8-15hrs/week
- Free Coffee while on shift and discounts on retail coffee and merchandise

Requirements:
- On-site role
- Currently employed at Origin Coffee Bar for at least 6 months
- Lead experience while on-staff
- Ability to cultivate and support a positive team environment
- Obtain a ServSafe certificate
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Ability to work independently and take initiative while ensuring smooth operations
Responsibilities:
Operations & Administration
- Creating staff schedule and ensuring shifts are properly staffed & supported
- Weekly inventory ordering and Slack channel monitoring for emergency inventory needs
- Provide emergency shift coverage as needed
- Overseeing staff training protocols & processes to ensure all team members have received full and adequate training in their individual roles
Quality & Equipment Oversight
- Printing, editing, and monitoring shift list usage & efficacy
- Maintain strong quality control awareness, identifying when something is off and making appropriate adjustments
- Ensure product and service standards remain consistent
- Troubleshoot machinery & equipment issues, including: POS & KDS systems, sound systems, internet connectivity, espresso machines, coffee equipment, BOH equipment, and tools.
